Match Report
Warminster School Boys-U9A vs  St. Margarets, Calne
On: Monday, 18 Nov 2019
Venue: at Home

Having played St Margarets earlier in the term, we decided we would play Barbarian rugby, so the teams were mixed up and we played a 40 minute match. The good thing about Barbarian rugby is that players have to get use to playing with people they do not know, and at the start this proved a little difficult for all players. As the game went on the quality of rugby got better and better, with some excellent passing and great individual and team tries. Barnaby Nickell tackled anything that came his way and even saved two tries after they had crossed the try line by making a tackle. Jasper Glenny scored some brilliant solo tries with his quick feet. Hugo Bianconi tackled and carried strongly all day and Oreste Franco showed glimpses of his very good natural talent.

Overall an thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of rugby, with the score irrelevant but all the players finishing the game with smiles on their faces
